Position description

Currently seeking for a Sub-sea Superintendent for one of our fast growing Oilfield Services client. The ideal candidate will lead all the subsea operations in order to provide a competent and proactive service across all the projects and will be responsible for ensuring that all subsea related equipment is maintained, and fit for purpose.



• Support, lead and assist as necessary with the planning and execution of all Subsea Operations of the company

• Assist with coaching and training to all the members of the rigs in regards to all aspects of their work

• Provide support and advice on all Subsea related matters

• Supply operation support in subsea hydraulic competence and BOP control expertise during rig visits

• Ensure that the subsea maintenance is professionally and timely executed in accordance with the maintenance systems

• Ensure that all the subsea equipment maintenance have completed in the correct manner and that the maintenance systems have been properly updated with all the relevant information

• Assessment of the efficiency of the maintenance systems

• Ensure that the recommendations from the authorities are planned and executed timely by the rigs managers

• Keep up to date with relevant authorities and classes rules and regulations for mobile rigs

• Assist to verify that all modifications and repairs of the rigs are planned and executed in a safe manner

• Offer service and assistance to the Operations department and rig management team in planning budgets for repair and maintenance of the rigs

• Perform technical inspection/audits of the drilling units subsea equipment on a regular basis

• Assist the rig onboard team in regards to the investigation of the potential incidents and equipment failures

Candidate requirements

  • +10 years Subsea experience on offshore floating drilling rigs with an offshore operator, drilling or major contractor • + 5 years of experience as Senior Subsea Engineer on offshore floating drilling rigs with deepwater operational experience • Familiarity with the units Subsea, Technical and Drilling Systems • Exceptional interpersonal skills are necessary to clearly communicate with field, staff and management of all levels along with partners and government • The position is will be required occasional overseas travel and visits to the rigs of the fleet   This is a great opportunity for the right individual.
